Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxes to keep patients smiling bright
• Capture and process dental x-rays with precision and care
• Assess oral health conditions and communicate findings to the dentist
• Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and overall oral hygiene techniques
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure a smooth workflow
• Uphold strict sterilization and infection control standards to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Massachusetts
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Proficiency with dental software and digital charting
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly chairside manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, instruments, and materials
• Skill in patient education and motivational interviewing
• Familiarity with dental x-ray equipment and safety protocols
• Understanding of HIPAA and infection control standards
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy practice
