Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care including cleanings and oral health assessments
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during procedures and treatments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Ensure sterilization of instruments and treatment rooms
• Collaborate with the dental team to create a welcoming and positive experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygiene license
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene best practices and infection control protocols
• Proficiency with dental instruments and equipment
• Experience with digital x-rays and dental software is a plus
• Skills in patient education and chairside manner
