Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor and manage ventilators, titrate medications, and respond to life-threatening emergencies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care
• Document patient progress accurately and communicate effectively with families and providers
• Maintain a safe, sterile, and supportive environment for patients and colleagues

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois (or compact state)
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Critical care nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and every weekend

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in patient assessment, monitoring, and ventilator management
• Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and medication titration
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
