Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings and prophylaxes with precision and care, ensuring patient comfort throughout the appointment
• Provide exceptional patient education on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
• Collaborate efficiently with a dedicated dental assistant, allowing you to focus on patient care and treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, adhering to all health and safety protocols
• Uphold the clinic's commitment to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of New Jersey
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, patient-focused demeanor
• Ability to work efficiently within a 30-minute appointment timeframe
• Comfortable working with an assistant and as part of a collaborative team

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene instruments and sterilization techniques
• Strong understanding of oral health assessment and preventive care
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
• Ability to multitask and maintain a steady pace in a clinical setting
• Great interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
