Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding dental hygiene care during efficient 30-minute appointment slots
• Perform scaling, polishing, and preventive procedures to maintain oral health
• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Work seamlessly with your dedicated dental assistant to ensure smooth patient flow
• Maintain accurate patient records while adhering to strict infection control standards
• Focus on patient comfort and quality care – no X-rays or comprehensive exams required

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey
• Current CPR certification (BLS) preferred
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Comfortable working with an assistant and utilizing 30-minute appointment slots
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to adapt quickly to a new practice environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapy
• Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral pathology
• Expertise in patient education and preventive care
• Familiarity with dental instruments and sterilization protocols
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Excellent interpersonal and charting skills
