Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist seamlessly during procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for every patient
• Prepare treatment rooms and patients, while explaining each step with warmth and clarity
• Capture high-quality dental X-rays and impressions that support accurate diagnoses
• Sterilize and organize instruments so the team is always ready to deliver excellent care
• Document patient information meticulously, keeping records clear and accessible

Qualifications

• Certified or licensed Dental Assistant in Maryland (or able to obtain quickly)
• Experience in orthodontic settings is a plus, but passion for learning is just as valued
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with our caring staff

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of dental instruments and infection control procedures
• Familiarity with Denticon or similar dental practice management software
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy patient hours
• A gentle touch and a welcoming demeanor that puts patients at ease
