Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill ICU patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding quickly to changes
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
• Educate patients and families about care plans and procedures
• Maintain a calm, safe environment during emergencies

Qualifications

• Current and active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• ACLS certification required
• ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of critical care nursing practices and protocols
• Proficiency with telemetry and ICU monitoring equipment
• Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring skills
• Emergency response and code management know-how
• Strong EHR and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
