Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and document vital signs, patient condition, and response to interventions
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Assist with daily living activities and ensure patient comfort and safety
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate changes in condition to supervising RNs

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Completion of a COVID-19 vaccine series or approved medical/religious exemption
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
• Medication administration and dosage calculation
• Patient assessment and documentation (EHR)
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
