Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding preventive dental hygiene care to patients of all ages
• Perform dental cleanings, assessments, and take diagnostic x-rays
• Partner with the dentist to provide comprehensive treatment and patient education
• Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure infection control standards
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices to promote long-term health

Qualifications

• Active dental hygienist license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for patient-centered care
• Experience with dental practice management software is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols
• Skills in patient assessment, dental radiography, and local anesthesia administration
• Strong communication and empathy when working with patients
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
