Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vital signs including blood pressure and pulse oximetry to ensure safety during procedures
• Assist with nitrous oxide and IV sedation, providing calm and attentive patient care
• Take panoramic X-rays and prepare imaging for the oral surgeon
• Support wisdom tooth surgeries and other oral surgical procedures with a steady, prepared hand
• Deliver clear post-operative instructions to help patients recover smoothly

Qualifications

• Experience with nitrous oxide and IV sedation monitoring
• Proficient in taking panoramic X-rays
• Familiarity with wisdom tooth surgery procedures and instrumentation
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
• Dental assistant certification or license as required by Virginia state regulations
