Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments
• Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and overall oral care
• Take and process dental x-rays as needed
• Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for every patient

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia or compact eligibility
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate, patient-first approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical hygiene skills and knowledge of dental procedures
• Experience with dental charting and practice management software
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation
• Ability to build rapport with patients of all ages
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
