Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during exams and procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for every patient
• Prepare and organize treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean clinical environment
• Take and develop dental X-rays and impressions as directed
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and appliance maintenance to support great outcomes
• Document patient treatment details and update their records with accuracy
• Provide outstanding chairside support and make patients feel at ease

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training preferred
• Prior experience in orthodontics or dental assisting is a plus
• Current radiography (X-ray) certification
• CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and patient relation skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental and orthodontic terminology
• Familiarity with dental instruments and sterilization protocols
• Skill in taking and processing dental radiographs
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
