Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during examinations and procedures
• Prepare patients for orthodontic treatments and explain care instructions
• Take and develop dental X-rays
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Maintain patient records and update treatment charts
• Provide excellent patient care and comfort throughout visits

Qualifications

• Certified Orthodontic Assistant (required)
• Previous experience as an orthodontic dental assistant
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Knowledge of dental software, preferably Denticon
• Friendly and compassionate chairside manner

Knowledge & Skills

• Orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Patient communication and education
• Dental software, including Denticon
• Infection control protocols
