Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor vital signs and telemetry rhythms
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate electronic health records
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns as needed

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Previous med-surg or telemetry nursing experience is a plus
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts and adapt to changing patient needs

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical knowledge of medical-surgical and telemetry nursing
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize care in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and patient advocacy
