Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor patient vital signs, interpret telemetry readings, and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring patient safety
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge instructions
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent medical-surgical or telemetry nursing experience
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts, including weekends as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and telemetry monitoring
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of infection control and patient safety protocols
