Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in delivering personalized treatment plans that help patients regain strength and mobility
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities tailored to their recovery goals
• Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatment accurately
• Educate patients and families on at-home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques
• Collaborate with the rehab team to adjust treatments for the best possible outcomes
• Foster a safe, encouraging environment that promotes patient confidence and independence

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in New Hampshire
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings is a plus
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility compliance requirements
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation techniques
• Understanding of patient documentation and HIPAA regulations
• Skill in operating therapy equipment and modalities
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Patient-centered mindset with a focus on safety and encouragement
