Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients on the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Monitor patient vitals, assess conditions, and respond to changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and self-care
• Document patient care thoroughly and in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Previous med-surg or telemetry experience is a plus
• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of med-surg and telemetry nursing practices
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Effective prioritization and time management in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
