Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to urgent care patients
• Perform comprehensive assessments and triage based on acuity
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as ordered
• Collaborate with providers and healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR
• Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Previous experience in urgent care, emergency, or ambulatory care is a plus
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of urgent care clinical protocols and procedures
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent patient assessment and triage abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
