Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients according to physician orders and referrals, helping them regain independence in daily living skills.
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans based on each patient's unique goals.
• Document services accurately and timely to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in line with practice acts and facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with all safety, regulatory, and facility standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD).
• Active Wyoming state OT license, or the ability to obtain one before starting.
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience or interest in rehabilitation and wellness settings.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD)

Knowledge & Skills

• Occupational therapy assessment, evaluation, and treatment planning
• Clinical documentation and accurate record keeping
• Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Supervision of COTAs and support staff
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations and facility guidelines
• Collaboration and interdisciplinary teamwork
