Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Assess, plan, and implement care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs
• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and intervene quickly when changes arise
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the care team to ensure the best outcomes
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, discharge instructions, and healthy habits
• Document accurately and communicate clearly to support seamless continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (or equivalent)
• Experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing is highly desirable
• ACLS certification is a plus for this role
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills are a must

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfort with cardiac monitoring and interpreting telemetry strips
• Solid understanding of EHR and charting systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced patient care environment
• Time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple patients
