Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient conditions with attention to detail
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients and families
• Advocate for patients' needs and ensure a safe, healing environment

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Previous med-surg/telemetry experience preferred, but passionate new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs and unit demands
• A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medical-surgical and telemetry nursing practices
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and charting systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of patient safety protocols and infection control standards
• Team collaboration and problem-solving abilities
