Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during examinations and procedures
• Prepare patients for orthodontic treatment and ensure their comfort
• Sterilize and organize dental instruments and equipment
• Take dental impressions and X-rays
• Apply and adjust braces, wires, and other orthodontic appliances
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and care of braces

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent
• X-ray certification
• CPR certification
• Experience in orthodontics preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
• Understanding of sterilization techniques
• Patient care and customer service
• Attention to detail
