Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: Hot Springs Village, Arkansas
Start Date: 05-13-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver therapy interventions with skill and compassion, following each patient's plan of care
- Document patient progress and responses to treatment to ensure continuity of care
- Empower patients through education and tailored home exercise programs
- Communicate clearly with the supervising PT to optimize each patient's recovery
- Maintain the highest standards of safety, infection control, and compliance
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active state PTA license, or the ability to obtain one
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to follow treatment plans effectively
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of compliance and infection control practices
- Skilled in interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
- Proficient in physical therapy interventions and treatment implementation
- Experienced in patient education and home exercise program instruction
- Detail-oriented documentation of patient progress
