Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling to keep smiles healthy
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Apply preventive treatments like fluoride and sealants to protect teeth
• Assess patients' oral health and clearly communicate findings to the dentist
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques for long-term wellness
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a spotless, safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR certification
• Hands-on experience in clinical dental hygiene
• Strong communication skills and a warm chairside manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental x-rays
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Excellent patient education and motivational skills
• Keen attention to detail and steady manual dexterity
