Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care, including cleanings and periodontal therapy
• Take and review dental radiographs to aid in diagnosis
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care practices
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure patient comfort
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
• Sterilize equipment and maintain a safe, clean clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in a dental office setting preferred
• Strong commitment to quality patient care and safety

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in dental radiography and digital imaging
• Solid understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Familiarity with dental software for charting and records
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
