Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling to maintain optimal oral health
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure efficient patient flow
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment to the highest standards
• Provide compassionate, exceptional care in a welcoming environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong patient communication and education skills
• Experience with dental software is a plus
• New graduates welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Familiarity with dental radiography and safety protocols
• Proficiency in patient documentation and charting
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient comfort
• Attention to detail and infection control standards
