Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care including cleanings, exams, and patient education
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure smooth and efficient treatment
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver the highest quality patient experience

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia required
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong patient communication and education skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to infection control
• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
• New graduates are encouraged to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental prophylaxis and scaling procedures
• Knowledge of dental radiography and imaging techniques
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interaction
• Ability to maintain sterilization and safety standards
