Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during examinations and treatments
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms
• Take and process dental X-rays as directed
• Help young patients feel comfortable and at ease
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Support the dental team in delivering high-quality, gentle care

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification or license in Wisconsin (as required)
• Radiology/X-ray certification preferred
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Previous experience working with children is a big plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work a per diem schedule

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization, and chairside assisting
• Familiarity with dental software and patient records
• Understanding of pediatric dental procedures and terminology
• Compassionate and patient approach with children
• Strong attention to hygiene and safety protocols
• Excellent teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced office
