Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT exams including CT Body, CT Head, and CT Angio using GE REVO 64-slice equipment
• Operate PACS and document studies accurately in AGFA PACS and Meditech EMR
• Ensure patient safety and comfort through clear communication and adherence to protocols
• Collaborate with emergency and clinical teams to prioritize urgent imaging needs
• Validate and maintain imaging quality, troubleshoot basic equipment issues, and report technical problems
• Maintain timely, accurate exam documentation and image transfers using GE RIS and Meditech
• Support unit workflow during night shift and assist with midshift overlap as needed

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Active Texas Medical Board licensure required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
• Experience with GE scanners (GE REVO 64-slice preferred) is a plus
• Familiarity with Meditech, AGFA PACS, and GE RIS preferred
• Strong team collaboration skills and self-motivation

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven CT scanning skills across head, body, and angiography exams
• Comfortable with PACS workflows and image management (AGFA PACS)
• Experience using Meditech EMR and GE RIS for documentation
• Skilled in routine X-Ray procedures in addition to CT
• Ability to operate GE REVO 64-slice CT equipment
• Excellent patient communication, prioritization, and emergency-room collaboration
• Strong attention to detail, infection control, and imaging safety practices
