Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and support to residents in daily activities
• Assist with mobility, repositioning, and transfers to ensure safety
• Monitor and report vital signs and changes in patient condition
• Document care provided accurately and promptly
• Work collaboratively with nurses and care team members to deliver quality care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Delaware
• COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption
• Must be able to provide a state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
• Completion of required background check and fingerprinting through Delaware DHSS
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication skills with residents, families, and team members
• Knowledge of basic patient care and safety protocols
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Observation and reporting skills to identify changes in condition
• Teamwork and a positive, caring demeanor
