Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 30-minute meal break (days vary per assignment)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
  • Monitor vital signs and report changes in residents' condition to the nursing team
  • Support meals and feeding, tracking intake to promote proper nutrition
  • Document care provided accurately and maintain a clean, safe environment
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents and be a trusted part of their daily lives

Qualifications

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Delaware
  • Must have completed COVID-19 vaccination or hold a documented medical or religious exemption
  • Must pass DHSS background check and fingerprinting requirements
  • Must provide a valid state or federal issued photo ID and wear a photo badge at all times
  • Compassionate, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality care

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of resident care procedures, infection control, and safety protocols
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents with mobility
  • Attention to detail for accurate documentation and reporting
  • Team collaboration and the ability to follow care plans
