Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 30-minute meal break (days vary per assignment)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in residents' condition to the nursing team
- Support meals and feeding, tracking intake to promote proper nutrition
- Document care provided accurately and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and be a trusted part of their daily lives
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Delaware
- Must have completed COVID-19 vaccination or hold a documented medical or religious exemption
- Must pass DHSS background check and fingerprinting requirements
- Must provide a valid state or federal issued photo ID and wear a photo badge at all times
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality care
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of resident care procedures, infection control, and safety protocols
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents with mobility
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation and reporting
- Team collaboration and the ability to follow care plans
