Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
• Support residents with meals and nutrition, ensuring dietary needs are met
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
• Communicate effectively with the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Delaware (or compact state if applicable)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to patient dignity
• Ability to pass a background check and meet DE DHSS fingerprinting requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of resident care techniques and safety protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Attention to detail and observation skills
• Physical stamina to assist with lifting and mobility
