Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily living assistance to rehab residents, including bathing, dressing, and dining support
• Monitor and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Assist patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort
• Prepare resident rooms and equipment for rehab activities and therapies
• Build trusting relationships with residents, offering emotional support and encouragement throughout their recovery

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of New Mexico
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
• COVID-19 vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required

• Safe lifting and transferring techniques
• Effective time management in a fast-paced environment
• Basic documentation and computer skills
