Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs, report changes to the nursing team
• Document care accurately and promptly
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and nutrition needs
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Delaware
• Must be able to pass the DHSS background check and fingerprinting requirement
• Completion of COVID-19 vaccine series or documented medical/religious exemption
• Valid state or federal issued identification and ability to wear a photo badge at all times
• Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply
• Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care

• Effective communication with patients, families, and team members

• Infection control and standard precautions
• Ability to follow care plans and report changes promptly
