Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Assist with meals and monitor food and fluid intake as needed
• Observe and promptly report changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment following infection control protocols
• Document care activities accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Must be able to pass background checks and meet facility compliance requirements
• Must bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered attitude
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a team setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of basic patient care and safety practices
• Skill in monitoring and reporting changes in patient status
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Knowledge of infection prevention and standard precautions
• Comfortable with electronic health records and documentation
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, encouraging demeanor
