Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, respectful assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitor resident condition and report changes to the nursing team promptly
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility to promote independence and prevent falls
- Support meal service and ensure residents' dietary needs are met
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
- Uphold infection control practices and facility safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
- Ability to work the evening shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Strong communication skills and a patient, compassionate approach
- Comfort working as part of a team in a fast-paced care environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
- Basic vital signs monitoring and observation skills
- Good documentation and communication with clinical staff
- Infection control and safe patient handling practices
- Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
