Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and eating
• Monitor and document vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
• Support patient mobility and transfers with proper techniques
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Communicate effectively with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Maine
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and punctual - patients count on you!

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of basic patient care techniques
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
• Ability to observe and report changes in patient condition
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and staff
• Patience and empathy in challenging situations
