Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
• Help with mobility, repositioning, and safe transfers
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients and families
• Report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Delaware
• Must successfully complete DHSS background check/fingerprinting through the Delaware Background Check Center
• COVID-19 vaccination or documented religious/medical exemption
• Ability to provide a valid state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
• A passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care

• Effective communication with patients, families, and the care team
• Ability to respond calmly and quickly to patient needs
