Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
• Take and record vital signs, and report changes to nursing staff
• Provide compassionate care and build meaningful relationships with residents
• Help with mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the healthcare team

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Delaware
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
• Must pass a background check and comply with DE DHSS requirements
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
• Positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping others

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to safely lift and transfer residents
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and vital signs
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing situations
