Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, assisting with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Help with mobility and positioning to ensure patient comfort and prevent injury
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and staff
• Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner
• Work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver the best possible care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Delaware
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to work night shifts as needed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Must meet facility vaccination requirements or have an approved exemption

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of patient care principles and techniques
• Knowledge of infection control and safety practices
• Comfort using medical equipment like blood pressure cuffs and thermometers
• Strong observation and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude
