Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs, and promptly report any changes to the nursing team
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure their safety and comfort
• Support a clean, organized, and welcoming living environment
• Document care activities accurately and communicate observations with the care team
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families while respecting their dignity and independence

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a positive attitude
• Ability to assist with lifting and transferring residents throughout your shift
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus, but new grads are welcome

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of resident care techniques and infection prevention
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with nurses and other caregivers
• Attention to detail when documenting care and observing changes
• Ability to follow care plans and safety protocols
• Flexibility to adapt to different residents and situations with empathy
