Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Take and record vital signs, and report any changes to the nursing team
• Support residents with meals and hydration, monitoring intake and output
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and families
• Document care provided accurately and timely per facility standards

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Flexibility to work per diem shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection control practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, families, and coworkers
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a positive attitude
• Physical stamina to lift, transfer, and assist residents
