Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure resident comfort and safety
  • Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff
  • Support residents with meals, feeding assistance, and hydration
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and families
  • Collaborate with the care team to create a positive and supportive living experience

Qualifications

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Maine
  • Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or similar)
  • A passion for helping others and providing quality care
  • Ability to pass a background check and health screening
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • COVID-19 vaccination or documented exemption per facility policy

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of basic nursing assistant procedures and resident care techniques
  • Understanding of infection control practices and safety protocols
  • Excellent observation and reporting skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Good physical stamina to assist with mobility and daily tasks
