Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Flexible per diem - 12-hour shifts, various days and times
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to patients in an acute rehabilitation setting
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
- Support patient mobility and transfers to promote independence
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
- Collaborate with nurses and therapists to deliver high-quality care
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Texas
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
- Previous experience in acute care or rehabilitation preferred
- Ability to work flexible per diem shifts and adapt to changing needs
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care and bedside manner
- Excellent communication and observation skills
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and vital sign monitoring
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Empathy and patience when supporting patients and families
