Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures with precision and care, following department protocols and radiologist direction
• Prepare and position patients, explaining exams to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Assist radiologists during interventional procedures, CT angiography, and advanced 3D reconstructions
• Administer IV, oral, and rectal contrast while reviewing patient safety questionnaires
• Coordinate daily workload by scheduling inpatients and prioritizing emergency cases
• Review images in PACS for completeness and document accurately in Epic EMR
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and a clean, organized work environment
• Support 24/7 department coverage, including on-call, holidays, and weekends as needed

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification required
• NH Imaging License required and must be currently active
• BLS/BCLS certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of CT scan experience
• ARRT CT Registry eligibility preferred
• Experience with GE and Siemens CT software preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in CT scan acquisition, patient positioning, and anatomy identification
• Solid understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Ability to identify pathology and contrast enhancement on cross-sectional imaging
• Comfortable troubleshooting CT equipment and performing daily quality assurance
• Skilled in EMR systems, including Epic and PointClick
• Knowledge of PACS software, McKesson Change Healthcare preferred
• Strong patient communication and customer service skills
