Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging exams, including X-rays, using state-of-the-art equipment
• Position patients correctly to ensure high-quality images while keeping them comfortable
• Follow physician orders and imaging protocols to deliver accurate results
• Maintain imaging equipment and uphold strict radiation safety standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to provide excellent patient care
• Accurately document patient information and imaging data

Qualifications

• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
• Active Louisiana state radiologic technologist license required
• BLS certification required
• Prior experience in diagnostic radiology preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of radiology equipment and imaging techniques
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
• Strong attention to detail for precise imaging and documentation
