Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding quickly to changes
• Administer medications, treatments, and life-support therapies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and families on care and recovery
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license in Louisiana (or compact state)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• ICU experience preferred but not required
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
• Comfortable working 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of critical care nursing principles
• Proficiency with patient monitoring equipment
• Strong medication administration and IV therapy skills
• Exceptional patient assessment and critical thinking
• Effective collaboration and communication with healthcare teams
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
