Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing interventions to promote recovery
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and care
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to coordinate patient care
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in med-surg nursing is a plus
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate bedside manner
