Candidate Pay Rate: $50 - $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to patients on the Adolescent Psych Unit, helping them feel safe and heard
• Monitor patient behavior and document observations while supporting treatment goals
• Assist licensed mental health professionals in delivering individualized care plans
• Support crisis management and de-escalation with compassion and professionalism
• Maintain a calm, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of recent Behavioral Health Technician experience
• Current BLS certification required
• CPI certification required
• Strong behavioral health inpatient experience preferred
• Crisis management experience preferred
• Compassionate, flexible, and a natural team player

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient observation and direct care support
• Understanding of behavioral health and crisis intervention techniques
• Skill in documenting patient behavior accurately
• Ability to remain calm and adaptable under pressure
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR and standard vital signs equipment
