Roles & Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain procedural equipment and supplies to ensure smooth, efficient cases
• Maintain a sterile field and support scrub duties during interventions
• Monitor patients’ hemodynamics and vitals accurately throughout procedures
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment and assist with imaging for diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Assist in cardiac cath procedures including diagnostic caths, PCI, stent placement, and pacemaker insertions
• Chart patient care and procedural documentation in Epic accurately and promptly
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, manage inventory, and ensure PACS integration
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient safety and outcomes

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• Fluoroscopy permit required (pending permits considered if application filed at time of submission)
• BLS and ACLS required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant Cath Lab/IR experience preferred; travel-first-timers are welcome
• RCIS or CCI are a plus (RCIS considered with 5+ years experience)
• Comfortable with on-call duties and occasional weekend coverage
• Familiarity with Epic charting preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Fluoroscopy operation and radiation safety
• Sterile technique and procedural setup
• Hemodynamic and patient monitoring during cardiac and peripheral interventions
• Cardiac catheterization procedures, pacemaker insertion, and electrophysiology support
• Peripheral vascular interventions including angioplasty and stent placement
• Use of PACS and Epic for imaging and documentation
• Experience with advanced devices such as Impella and embolization coils
• Ability to maintain equipment, manage supplies, and support unit workflow
